DESCRIPTION:00-04 150:- 20+\n\nBefore Rivet became Rivet\, there was Grov
 skopa. A pressure valve. An outlet for anger. Industrial techno built to 
 leave dents.\n\nBetween 2001 and 2011\, Grovskopa was a key figure of the
  industrial techno movement that grew out of Birmingham. Through his labe
 ls Pohjola and Emergence Records\, and releases on Token\, Warm Up\, Surf
 ace and Audio Assault (that later turned into MORD)\, Grovskopa became pa
 rt of a scene that redefined techno through pressure\, repetition and fun
 ction. Along the way came collaborations and long-standing relationships 
 with artists such as **Surgeon\, Regis **and Oscar Mulero.\n\nThen a moto
 rcycle nearly killed him. Or vice versa.\n\nRecovery changed everything. 
 Grovskopa was put to rest and Rivet emerged—less interested in blunt fo
 rce\, more drawn to groove\, tension and storytelling.\n\nFor fifteen yea
 rs that was enough.\n\nIt isn't anymore.\n\nThe world has become meaner. 
 Techno has become cleaner. Polished into content\, flattened into lifesty
 le branding.\n\nSomewhere along the way people forgot that techno isn't s
 upposed to comfort you. It's supposed to rearrange your nervous system.\n
 \nSo Grovskopa returns.\n\nNot as heritage. Not as revival. As necessity.
 \n\nThe return also marks a new chapter\, with an EP landing on MORD this
  October.\n\nThere was only one choice for this night's guest. Ukraine’
 s Stanislav Tolkachev\, making his Swedish debut. His first record came o
 ut on Pohjola Records in 2006. Twenty years later he remains one of techn
