SUMMARY:Jonas Abrahamsson + TUNGA DIVISIONEN + Klara Anna
LOCATION:Inkonst\, Bergsgatan 29\,\, 214 22 Malmö
DESCRIPTION:FREE ENTRY\n\nSome artists arrive with a fixed formula. Jonas
Abrahamsson seems more interested in what happens when a song is allowed
to change direction halfway through.\n\nOn 15 October\, Abrahamsson come
s to Inkonst to perform music from BIG LOVE\, his debut album released ea
rlier this year. The record introduces a songwriter with a restless appro
ach to form and a clear commitment to following ideas wherever they lead.
What begins as an intimate song can gradually open into something larger
\, brighter or stranger\, always guided by curiosity rather than conventi
on.\n\nFor many in the extended Inkonst and Intonal orbit\, Abrahamsson i
s already a familiar face as the wild-eyed drummer of Vanligt Folk\, know
n for turning serving trays\, his own skull and whatever else happens to
be nearby into percussion instruments. BIG LOVE places songwriting at the
centre of the picture\, while retaining the unpredictability\, humour an
d emotional directness that have long defined his performances. Drawing f
rom pop\, indie and rock traditions\, the songs leave room for spontaneit
y\, unexpected turns and linguistic play\, with Abrahamsson often moving
between multiple languages during a set.\n\nOpening the evening are local
heroes TUNGA DIVISIONEN. Formed in a rehearsal room on the outskirts of
Malmö\, the group has built a reputation for energetic live performances
and a playful approach to songwriting. Their music combines elements of
indie pop\, funk and soul into a sound that feels distinctly their own.\n
